Ten Virgins

Why is The Ten Virgin Parable Important? What is the Tragedy of the Parable? and most importantly, Why do some fail? In the parable, all the ten virgins went out to meet the bridegroom. All had lamps and vessels for oil. For a time there was seen no difference between them. So with the church that lives just before Christ’s second coming. All have a knowledge of the Scriptures. All have heard the message of Christ’s near approach, and confidently expect His appearing. But as in the parable, so it is now. Many are unready. They have no oil in their vessels with their lamps. They are destitute.
Does Doctrine matter? Those who present a Doctrine contrary to that of the Bible, are led by the Great Apostate who was cast out of the Courts of God. Many will stand in our pulpits with the torch of false prophecy in their hands, kindled from the hellish torch of Satan, he laughs at our folly, for he knows what truth is.
Since the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth, Do we have an clues as to who the foolish might be who are recorded as “unready,” they have no oil. They are destitute of the Holy Spirit.
Why is it the foolish depend on the faith of their brethren? Will not the majority be right? What is Satans hellish banner? And who are the many?
What did the disciples obtain after the cross? How can we fill our vessels with Oil? What is the condition of understanding?
Can we be sealed with the seal of the living God, while holding erroneous doctrines? In dealing with truth, what are we to carefully scrutinize? Who will heed the warning of Matthew 25:6 Why will many not heed it? Who are those inclined to maintain and sustain existing institutions and views, no matter how biblically incorrect they may be? What is the danger for these last days?
