“A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words.”

We are often told that “a picture is worth a thousand words.”
While reading an old book, we discovered a children’s memory verse picture produced by a church group in September 1948. We wanted to compare that image with what the same scene might look like today — a span of 78 years between 1948 and 2026. Living in an age of computers, smartphones, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), we asked AI to redraw the original 1948 picture as it might appear in 2026. Below you will see the original 1948 image alongside the AI-generated 2026 version. Has God changed?

From Oct. 11, 1962 to Dec. 8, 1965 the Second Vatican Council was convened by Pope John XXIII and concluded under Pope Paul VI. Vatican II met on subjects such as the Mass/liturgy, ecumenism, relations with non-Catholics, and Celebration style of Worship being introduced into all protestant Churches. This Celebration centered major push was designed to change not only the worship service in the Churches, but to change the religion of the people.

Understanding the Ten Virgin Parable

Testimony Press Publications in connection with Hoehn Research Library has been the foremost teachers of the true meaning of the Ten Virgin Parable for more than 84 years!

Which one of these sleeping Virgins will give the Midnight Cry or the Loud Cry message? They are ALL asleep! But there is a procession OUT THERE that give this final message. Matthew 25:6, and Revelation 14:9; 18:4 And at midnight there was a cry made. By WHOM? The sleeping virgins don’t give more than a loud snore. “At midnight the cry is heard, “Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.” The sleepers, suddenly awaking, spring to their feet. They see the procession moving on, bright with torches and glad with music. They hear the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. The ten maidens seize their lamps and begin to trim them, in haste to go forth. But five have neglected to fill their flasks with oil. They did not anticipate so long a delay, and they have not prepared for the emergency. In distress they appeal to their wiser companions saying, “Give us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.” (Margin.) But the waiting five, with their freshly trimmed lamps, have emptied their flagons. They have no oil to spare, and they answer, “Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.” COL 405.2
